  • Audio is used only to perform speech-to-text transcription requested by the user.

  • Audio is written temporarily to an ephemeral file during processing.

  • The audio file is automatically deleted immediately after transcription completes.

  • Audio recordings are:

     

    • Not stored persistently

    • Not saved to databases or cloud storage

    • Not retained after processing

    • Not linked to a user’s identity

    • Not used for analytics, advertising, tracking, or training

Audio data exists only for the duration necessary to complete the requested transcription and is discarded immediately thereafter.

3.4 Location Information

 

Current Functionality

 

  • Aviantum Weather does not require location access to operate.

  • Users may manually enter airports, routes, or locations.

Future, Optional Features

 

In future versions, Aviantum Weather may offer optional features that use location information, such as:

 

  • Nearby airport discovery

  • Map-based visualization

 

If enabled:

 

  • Location access will be explicitly requested

  • Location data may include precise location

  • Location access is entirely optional

  • Location permissions can be revoked at any time through device settings

  • Location data will be used only to provide requested features and not for advertising or tracking

  • Aviantum Weather does not store full payment card details.
